Located just a 15-minute boat ride from Langkawi, Tuba Island will delight those who like to explore places away from the crowds. If you are the more active type, you can enjoy the unspoilt beauty of Tuba Island during two short treks. At the end of one of the treks, you’ll explore a cave with beautiful stalactite formations and jungle views, while the second trek will reward you with spectacular views of Tuba and Dayang Bunting islands. At the end, you will enjoy a well-deserved reward of a fresh seafood lunch and relax on the beach.
Tuba Island Hiking Tour Itinerary
What can you look forward to during the trip:
- Pick up at the hotel, transfer to the jetty, and transfer to Tuba Island.
- Transfer to the starting point for the first trek.
- Approximately 30-minute trek to the cave.
- Cave exploration with jungle and valley views.
- Return and move back to the starting point for the second trek.
- Approximately 40-minute hike to the viewpoint to enjoy views of Tuba and Dayang Bunting islands.
- Return and transfer to the beach.
- Lunch (Mee Udang, prawn noodles, which are a local specialty, or fried rice) and relax on the beach.
- Return to the jetty and transfer back to your hotel in Langkawi.
NOTE
- To improve accessibility, we will move between the starting points of the treks on a scooter. There is not much traffic on Tuba Island, making driving here really easy. However, if you prefer not to drive a scooter, we can arrange a minivan for transfers. This will extend the first trek by about 20 minutes of walking.

FOR WHOM IS TUBA ISLAND HIKING TOUR SUITABLE
- The tour is ideal for all outdoor lovers who enjoy discovering places off the beaten track. The hikes themselves are not difficult and can be done by anyone in normal physical condition. However, please note that you are in a tropical zone with higher temperatures and humidity, which may make it challenging for some people, especially if they are not used to such conditions. This applies, for example, to people with heart problems. So please consider your medical condition, and if you have any doubts or questions, do not hesitate to ask us. If you would like to visit the island but prefer less strenuous activities, we recommend the Tuba Island Relax Tour.

- You shouldn’t have any expenses during the trip, so you’ll need a few ringgit just in case or in case you want to buy some extra refreshments.

- For 3 or more persons: RM330/adult
- Children 6 – 15 years old: RM150
- Children under 5 years old: Free of charge
NOTE
- Tour is private and no one else will go with you. If there are only two of you and you would like a lower price, we can try to pair you with other customers.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- The above program, transfer to and from Langkawi jetty, boat to Tuba Island, transport around Tuba Island (minivan or scooter), local English speaking licensed guide, drinking water, lunch, fruit.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- Individual personal expenses not included in the tour.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Deposit: 50% of the total price by one of the payment methods listed below.
- Balance: Before the start of the tour in cash or one of the payment methods listed below.
POSSIBLE PAYMENT METHODS
- Transfer to Malaysian bank account: We only use SWIFT, not IBAN, but if you have Revolut, the transfer is possible.
- Card: We use Stripe to enable secure payment via link. Neither we nor anyone else can see your payment card details. A regular card, Apple Pay or Google Pay can be used for payment.
- Revolut: Payment between Revolut accounts or from Revolut to our Malaysian bank account.
- PayPal: A 3% transaction fee will be added to PayPal payments. The other payment methods mentioned above are free.
CANCELLATION TERMS
- 20 days or more before the tour: Full refund of the deposit.
- 3 – 20 days before the tour: Half of the deposit refunded.
- 2 – 0 days before the tour: Deposit forfeited.
- In case of cancellation by us, the deposit will be refunded in full.
NOTE
- If there are valid reasons for cancellation, such as injury or serious illness, you will receive a full refund regardless of when you cancel, upon presentation of the relevant receipts.
