Food Tour Itinerary

What can you look forward to during the tour:
- Pick up at the hotel.
- Transfer to the night market.
- Tour of the night market with food explanations and tastings.
- Transfer to a local restaurant for dinner, enjoying fish, prawns, clams, and other specialties.
- After dinner, walk down the main street of Cenang to learn about different types of local restaurants, including food trucks, with explanations and tastings.
- Finally, sample Roti Canai, one of the most typical Malaysian dishes.
- Transfer back to the hotel.

FOR WHOM IS THE FOOD TOUR SUITABLE
- For anyone who wants to learn about Malaysian cuisine, typical dishes and ingredients, enjoy good food, and get tips on tried and tested restaurants in Langkawi from locals who eat there regularly.
DAYS FOR TOUR
- The days for the food tour are determined by the location of the night markets. If you are staying in or around Cenang or Tengah, the tour days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
- If you are staying elsewhere, such as in Tanjung Rhu or Kuah, a tour is also possible. However, consider whether it will be beneficial for you, as most of the recommended restaurants are in the Cenang and Tengah areas.

- Minimum: 2 adults
- Maximum: 6 adults
BEGINNING OF THE TOUR
- 6 PM
TOUR DURATION
- Approximately 5 hours.
HOW MUCH MONEY TO BRING
- RM50 to RM100 per person should be enough to eat well or buy souvenirs along the way.

What is the price of the Food Tour, and what is included in it? What are the payment and cancellation terms?
PRICE
- For 2 persons: RM270/adult
- For 3 or more persons: RM180/adult
- Children 6 – 15 years old: RM100 RM
- Children under 5 years old: Free of charge
NOTE
- Tour is private and no one else will go with you. If there are only two of you and you would like a lower price, we can try to pair you with other customers. However, for the Food Tour, we do not recommend this to ensure the best quality of interpretation.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- The above program, transportation, local English speaking guide, drinking water.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- Food, souvenir shopping.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Deposit: 50% of the total price by one of the payment methods listed below.
- Balance: Before the start of the tour in cash or one of the payment methods listed below.
POSSIBLE PAYMENT METHODS
- Transfer to Malaysian bank account: We only use SWIFT, not IBAN, but if you have Revolut, the transfer is possible.
- Card: We use Stripe to enable secure payment via link. Neither we nor anyone else can see your payment card details. A regular card, Apple Pay or Google Pay can be used for payment.
- Revolut: Payment between Revolut accounts or from Revolut to our Malaysian bank account.
- PayPal: A 3% transaction fee will be added to PayPal payments. The other payment methods mentioned above are free.
CANCELLATION TERMS
- 20 days or more before the tour: Full refund of the deposit.
- 3 – 20 days before the tour: Half of the deposit refunded.
- 2 – 0 days before the tour: Deposit forfeited.
- In case of cancellation by us, the deposit will be refunded in full.
NOTE
- If there are valid reasons for cancellation, such as injury or serious illness, you will receive a full refund regardless of when you cancel, upon presentation of the relevant receipts.
